La Leggendaria Charly Gaul stage of the UCI Gran Fondo World Series 2019

The 14th edition of La Leggendaria Charly Gaul, dedicated to the Angel of the Mountains and to his legendary enterprise during the Giro d’Italia on 8th June 1956, awaits you from July, 12th to 14th, 2019 in the enchanting territory of Trento, Monte Bondone and Valle dei Laghi (Lakes’ Valley). The prestigious Granfondo in Trentino (Northern Italy) is the Italian stage of the UCI Gran Fondo World Series and represents the opportunity to qualify for the Final of the of the UCI Gran Fonfo World Championships. The busy weekend of "La Leggendaria Charly Gaul" opens, as usual, with the time trial which takes place on Friday in Valle dei Laghi.

Participants will cover the 24 km long ring (with a climbing of approx. 440 m.) crossing the characteristic villages of the Valle dei Laghi and flanking the picturesque shores of Lake Cavedine. Sunday, July 14th 2019 will take place the granfondo and the mediofondo: two beautiful and challenging routes (respectively 141km 4.000 m D + and 57km, 2000 m D +) starting in the beautiful Piazza Duomo di Trento. The tracks touch the villages and vineyards of the Valle dei Laghi, some of its enchanting lakes and the vineyards of Valle di Cembra up to the climb of the fascinating and decisive bends of Monte Bondone.
