The Adamello Brenta Natural Park is famous worldwide for being the first to have reintroduced the brown bear in the territory, more specifically right in the Brenta area. The Dolomiti di Brenta Bike logo is inspired by the important and historic presence of the bear, testimony to the unspoiled woodland area and of man's attention in the management and preservation of a natural treasure.

On the tracks of the bear! All this is Dolomiti di Brenta Bike, the new ring-like trails for Mtb lovers, with two itineraries that are geared towards different abilities. Stopovers are included along these routes which wind their way through the most captivating mountains of the Trentino region; the Dolomiti di Brenta can be compared to a giant cathedral topped by rocky spires. An unparalleled holiday proposal which combines sport, culture and eno-gastronomic specialties.

Dolomiti di Brenta Bike has two separate tours inspired and created by bikers for bikers expressing a unique and unspoilt territory. After a long period of research and preparation to satisfy both the novice biker and the most demanding sport enthusiast, this tour is finally ready to welcome its first pioneers! It is a fascinating tour around the magnificent Brenta Dolomites (anticklockwise) which are a morphologic and geologic masterpiece able to render unique and true emotions: from the romanticism of the reddish peaks to the lush green of the pastures, and to the rural villages at the edge of the Adamello Brenta Natural Park.

The itineraries follow unpaved trails through pine and beech forests, narrow paths which reach pastures surrounding typical mountain homes, tiny roads that lead to quaint hamlets. The trail passes through the typical agricultural fields of the mountain area: the orchards of the Non and Sole Valleys, the vineyards, the cornfields and the pasture areas of the Giudicarie Valley – along the bike trails which follow the streams flowing in the heart of the valleys. Paved roads compose only a minimal part of the tracks. The bike tour is a ring ride around the Brenta Dolomites: 171 Km of pure MTBing with a total elevation gain of 7,800 meters. The Dolomites are unique and the mountain bike itineraries are very attractive: dirt tracks, single tracks, challenging climbs, high altitude and breathtaking downhills wait for you in a unique, romantic and savage place. The Adamello Brenta Natural Park has realized new signals (signs), new informative maps and charts for excursionists: the offer contains different biker services, baggage transport to go in tranquillity to the next bikehotel and relax after a day spent with your bike.

Bikers can personalize their itinerary on the basis of the technical characteristics and difficulties involved, the services offered and the accommodation for the stopovers. There are no fixed routes, each biker can decide according to his skills and abilities, and when and where he wants to stop.

These are the two Dolomiti di Brenta Bike itineraries:

1. the COUNTRY TOUR:

this track has been studied to stimulate the appetite of the most tranquil bikers who desire safety above all, but want some action too, just to remember that we are in the pure mountain environment of the Dolomiti di Brenta! The route is made up mostly of bike trails, unpaved country roads and a few hills. During the summer, a shuttle bus runs between Dimaro and Campo Carlo Magno and between Pinzolo and Madonna di Campiglio, in order to avoid the more difficult parts of the trail.

Technical details: 136 km - 4600 meters of total climbing

2. the EXPERT TOUR:

this itinerary is dedicated to the real athlete who loves difficult runs and steep climbs and pays no attention to fatigue. The route includes unpaved roads, mountain paths reaching up to 2300 metres and exhilarating downhill runs.
