Now, Transpyr Coast to Coast opens new ways to achieve this extraordinary mission to a larger number of riders. The MTB version is the best known and remains the icon of this sea-to-sea quest, having been included in many top 10 lists in magazines around the globe. One of the novelties is the C2C Relay, designed for those who want to share this unforgettable experience in a more relaxed way, participating in relays that must complete half of the stage, handing over to their teammates at the second feeding station.
The second new option, E-Transpyr C2C, is for those pioneers who want to be the first to ride the Pyrenees from coast to coast on an e-bike. To allow the batteries to cover stages with an average of 100 km of distance and 2,500 meters of elevation, the organisers of Transpyr Coast to Coast guarantee a charging point at the second feed zone and the transportation of spare batteries for those who already have one. Francesc Sallent, director of Transpyr Coast to Coast emphasises "Our goal is to accompany cyclists on an extraordinary mission that is unique in the world. And for those who want to do it with their friends, on their electric bike or on a road bike we will also be there."

ABOUT TRANSPYR GRAN RAID MTB
Transpyr Gran Raid MTB crosses the Pyrenees by mountain bike. This event has caused a sensation and captivated the most demanding bikers and those hungry for new challenges. Transpyr Gran Raid MTB might be done individually, in pairs or trios, and now in relays. The route is followed via GPS, which allows for a more authentic experience of the Pyrenees. Recognised by different magazines, including the National Geographic, as one of the 10 best MTB stage races on the planet, it is a challenge to face at least once in life.
Transpyr Coast to Coast RELAY race in teams. Ideal for anyone who wants to experience the Transpyr atmosphere in the company of friends.It is also intended for bikers looking to take part but have not had the time to prepare for the full 780km route. This option will include stages of between 40 and 60 km per day / per turn. This way, the participants can distribute the workload and savour being part of the changing landscape and select route. The format is quite simple: the first member of the team starts the race with the rest of the participants, regardless of whether they are competing individually or in pairs, and is tasked with making it to the second drink station of each stage. Their teammates will drive to this location in their own vehicle and wait for their friends with their bikes at the ready. The pace of pedalling allows the second person or group to make contact with their teammates at various spots along the route, ensuring constant communication between group members. And the change takes place at the mid-way point.
