Spilimbergo (PN, Italy) - Also in 2018 the Tiliment Marathon Bike will take place in Spilimbergo, small town in northern Italy. On April 21st and 22nd, 2018, the MTB-Marathon will celebrate its 10th anniversary: ​​It was re-confirmed as one of the races of the UCI Marathon World Series 2018, but the organizer, the Polisportiva Trivium, is delighted especially for hosting the UEC MTB Marathon European Championships 2018 for the Elite and Master - category.

In recent years, most of the elite riders from all over Europe have participated in the race, now they have the great advantage to know the race track and are prapared for the big European event. Reconfirmed are the Marathon course (104 km / 3,250 meters of climbing) and the shorter "Granfondo" with 52 km / 1300 meters, especially the long course is a quite technical one. Both pass through 7 different communities, all located orographically to the right of the dried-up Tagliamento river. In addition, the 25 km long cycling tour, the "pedalata ecologica", will bring in the sorroundings of Spilimbergo, planned not only for accompanying persons.

For the 2018 edition the organzier have decided to prepair a new start-finish area in order to emphasize the beauties of Spilimbergo, known as the "City of the Mosaic", a little gem and part of the World Heritage Site. In that wekkend it will become the center of the mountain bike scene, mountain bikers from all over the world meet here and spend also some time in the expo site collocated for the occasion in a special place in the center of the village. Do not miss that event in 2018 !!

Registrations have been opened these days (Janurary) > Informations through Bike & More, official partner or directly in www.tilimentmarathonbike.it. The entry fee for the Marathon / Granfondo remains unchanged until 31.03.2018, but registrations are only possible within 18.04.2018. No more registrations after that date. All license holders (UCI / FCI) are admitted, amateur bikers, however, must solve a special license for the day of the race. Elite riders and Master (Women / Men) will battle for the European title, in this occasion both can give their best.
