Summer is here: also on the gravel paths leading to the legendary Tremalzo Pass, where the 4th edition of Tremalzo Bike Scott will take place. Work on the track has already begun, and test drives and initial explorations are already possible. Here are the first news:
Tremosine sul Garda (BS) - July 2018 - Low temperatures and snow are a thing of the past. The Tremalzo Pass, situated at an altitude of 1,700 metres, is, as always during the hottest months of the year, one of the most popular destinations for tourists and bikers from all over Italy and Northern Europe. For a long time the organizing committee used the wonderful summer to work on the route management: On October 7th, the 4th edition of Tremalzo Bike Scott will take place here and again this year it will be a highlight within the national mountain bike scene. The participation in some important bike series such as the "Coppa Lombardia" and the "Brixia Adventure MTB" has already been confirmed; this year the race high above the Gardasse will also be part of the renowned "Prestigio MTB 2018" for the first time. All MTB fans throughout Italy and abroad can take up the challenge of the Tremalzo Pass.
An ascent that has written the history of Italian mountain biking, characterized by gravel roads, of which there are all kinds of historical anecdotes to tell, countless hairpin bends that were crossed by the bikers of yesteryear. The Tremalzo Bike Scott is preparing for a new edition, its irresistible charm is hard to escape.
"In these months the scenarios of Tremalzo Bike Scott offer completely different scents, temperatures and views than those that will be available in a few months' time" - explain the organisers - that's why we decided to start work on the route earlier, giving everyone the opportunity to try or simply enjoy the dirt roads that lead to Tremalzo in this beautiful and conspicuous environment. A unique spectacle for everyone, which is even more lively and colourful than ever before due to the proximity to Lake Garda in summer!
At the moment the track with 51km and 2300m of climbing is confirmed for the next edition, but minor changes or improvements compared to the 2017 edition can still be presented. The presence of top bikers of international formats has also been confirmed, but the programme of the side events cannot yet be unveiled..... but it will certainly be fun for everyone!
