FSA BIKE Festival Garda Trentino turns 25 – time to celebrate

Time flies! What came into being thanks to a revolutionary idea back in 1994 has meanwhile become Europe's biggest mountain bike outdoor fair. From 28 April till 1 May, 2018, the FSA BIKE Festival Garda Trentino celebrates its 25th anniversary – together with the industry's most important brands, more than 3,000 active riders and about 45,000 festival visittors.Over the course of four days, mountain biking will take over centre stage in Riva del Garda, Italy again.

Subsequent to the official festival opening, more than 150 exhibitors are offering test products and events as well as special prices while also presenting the latest developments and products to an interested audience, always focusing on the dialogue between business and customers. In addition, the BIKE Festival is also known for its outstanding sport events. The highlight of the weekend will take place on Sunday morning when international pros as well as amateurs compete in the Rocky Mountain BIKE Marathon. More than 2,500 racers from 30 countries are expected to lock horns on four different courses. While Ronda Facile (28.63 km, 702 m) and Ronda Piccola (44.24 km, 1,523 m) seem to be easy to master, Ronda Grande (73.94 km, 2,831 m) and especially Ronda Extrema (90.43 km, 3,838 m) are way more demanding.
Enduro fans can look forward to the first stop of the brand new Scott Enduro Series while eBike friends also get their money's worth at the second edition of the Bosch eMTB Challenge supported by Trek. The youngest talents will go for a ride at the Scott Junior Trophy scenting some pure competition air. In addition, the famous Ghost City Eliminator, an action packed competition format featuring heats of four going head to head on a purpose built course in the old town of Riva del Garda, is back after a break of two years.
The Garda Trentino Freestyl' Air Show as well as Tom Oehlers's Trial Show presented by Crankworx Innsbruck & Kenda will deliver some jaw dropping stunt show moments, too. The Open Night on Saturday as well as a big firework and parties with the well-known Disco Boys taking over the turntables at the Riders Party in Spiaggia degli Olivi on 28 April round out the festival weekend.
