A next edition of Fudenas in october 2010

 

 

The last challenge of the mtb season 2010 will be FUDENAS - for mostly all riders. 150 km across the island - Mountains, desert, grubble, Heat, hard and tough trails - not an easy way the conquer Fuerteventura...

The successful marathon teams from Europe, with the winner of the Ritchey Challenge Andi Strobel, 24 Hours World Champion Michael Kalivoda from Ghost Racing Team and Top Riders from Holland, Belium Italy & Denmark will start Saturday, the 30th of october in Corralejo, in the north of the island from the Military Bases Soria.

Besides - there are waiting 450 of the best spanish riders from the other Canary Island and the mainland - and the TOPTEN of the Militaries. The course will be very fast and hard - and tough even without many highmeters - but much grubble. The heat and dry climate - sand-dunes, mountains, and the fascinating landscape of the inner island- and at the end - the spectacular sea-view at the arrival in Morro jable, the south of Fuerteventura. For the relax-riders - you may finish the 1st day after 70 km - and enjoy the hospitality of the militaries in Tuineje for the night - and be invited to stay over night and sleep in the public sportscentre. The Batallon Soria 9 offers a shuttle-bus from all over the island for the riders to the start and finish - another detail of the perfect organisation and logistics from the team of Canarian General, alma mater of this mtb event and himself a famous sportsman.

For any inquieries or reservation demands, Canary-bike still have some inscriptions left over. Petra Wonisch will be personally present in Fuerteventura - so she can take care of all the "extras and non- militaries" desires of the international riders. The headoffice & team-hotel will be again the 4 *Hotel Playitas Resort that garantees best service for all the bikers and includes transfer to start & finish.
