GAES TITAN DESERT BY GARMIN
The Gaes Titan Desert by Garmin is a 6 day stage mountain bike race (600km-5000 m climbing) in Morocco. The hardest MTB race in the world will discover the mountainous territory of Ifrane and the Moroccan desert. It will become the scene of a fight for the win, a struggle against the elements, in one of the driest places on the planet. The challenge lies in high demand of both, sense of orientation and endurance. Bikers have to be able to complete, overcoming the adversities of the desert, heat, but most of all the physically taxing distance. The race can be contested either as Solo or in Team consiting of 2 or 3 riders, as well as in mixed teams of male and female. The next edition of the Gaes Titan Desert by Garmin will take place from 30th April to May 5th, 2017 to celebrate his 12th anniversary with many new features. After bringing together more than 400 participants in the 2016 edition, the Titan reinvents itself another year to attract MTB top athletes and amateur cyclists for a new edition. If in the last edition we discovered the territory of Ifrane -in the Moroccan Middle Atlas- in 2017 the course will focus on the most desertic tracks of the Errachidia province, southeast of Morocco.
There will be aganin the "Garmin" stage with no signs on the race track and the special "Marathon" stage. Special categories and prizes for biker coming with an e-bike or a Fat bike.
